 PRESIDENT 

Anne R. Moses received her B. A. from Barnard College, Columbia University, New York; and Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.  She is admitted to practice in New York and Alabama.  Anne is a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation, member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and Chair of the Elder Law Services Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association.  She also has received her Mediation Certification from the Alabama State Bar.  She has been voted as one of the Best Lawyers in America by Consumer GuideSM and is Past President of the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham; and a co-founder of the Elder Law Services Committee of both the Birmingham Bar Association and the Elder Law Section of the Alabama State Bar.  Anne was co-Chair of the Outreach Committee of the Planned Giving Council (“Leave A Legacy”); and is a member of the American Bar Association Sections on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law, and Business Law.  Anne is past Director of the Birmingham Bar Foundation, past President of the Birmingham Bar Association Women Lawyer’s Section, National Association of Women Business Owners-Birmingham Chapter, past president and chairman of the board of Children’s Dance Foundation, and CDF Building Fund, Inc.  She is a member of the Shelby County Bar Association and the Chambers of Commerce of Birmingham and Shelby County.  She is newly certified as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. Anne is co-author of A Wealth of Information, and is a frequent speaker on business matters, elder care planning and estate planning issues.

PRESIDENT ELECT

Tina White is a CPA and owner of Panoramic Accounting Services, LLC, providing contract CFO and process improvement services to businesses where owners see an increase in their bottom line.  Through her software consulting, tax and audit experience, she developed a niche for providing value-added services to service-based businesses, real estate development and property management companies.  She enjoys educating business owners on the rapid changes in technology, tax laws and human resources.  Tina serves as the Treasurer for the Birmingham Music Club Guild and is a member of the Greater Shelby Chamber of Commerce and several industry specific organizations.

 

VP COMMUNICATIONS

Senitra Blackburn is the President of Cook-Blackburn Human Resources, Inc. (CBHR). CBHR specializes in recruiting, employee benefits, and human resources consulting. Senitra spends the majority of her time consulting with business owners and managers on major issues facing companies today: the hiring and retention of quality employees, training and development of employees, and employment law compliance. She has ten years experience in Human Resources and is the VP of Community Relations and Workforce Development for the Birmingham Society of Human Resource Management.

 

 VP MEMBERSHIP

Linda Levin, President of Achieve Change Today, is a Professional Certified Coach, specializing in executive and life coaching. She has been successfully coaching individual and corporate clients for over ten years. Linda’s twenty five plus years of clinical experience as a licensed clinical social worker lends additional depth to her coaching skills. Women professionals who work with Linda tap into their strengths with more power and confidence.

 

SECRETARY 

Kelly Thrasher Fox is an attorney with Hand Arendall LLC, one of the largest law firms in the State of Alabama.  Kelly practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, business and estate planning, real estate, corporate, partnership and tax law, and finance.   Kelly is experienced in representing purchasers and sellers of many types of businesses and start-up companies in their early stages of development and during their evolution into more mature businesses.  Kelly also represents businesses as they seek debt and equity financing and as they purchase or sell assets, and with various types of contractual negotiations.

Anne Bailey is the founder of Markham Bailey, LLC, a digital print solutions provider specializing in labels, wraps, signs, banners and design.  Markham Bailey is a certified WBENC minority supplier.

 

 

 TREASURER

Jennifer  Skjellum is President and owner of Runtime Computing Solutions, LLC. RunTime Computing Solutions provides software and solutions for the high performance and embedded computing space.  RunTime’s software is used in embedded defense systems internationally. Company services include programming, design, and cloud computing services. She holds both a bachelors and a Master’s degree Communication. Jennifer is a past Chairman for TechBirmingham and continues to serve on its Executive Committee and Board of Directors. She also serves on the Birimingham Entrepreneur Board.

At-Large Board Members

 Annette Springer is the Chief Executive Officer for Springer Equipment Company. Springer Equipment Company is a certified WBENC business providing comprehensive forklift sales, service, rentals, parts, leasing and fleet maintenance related to the material handling equipment industry. Springer Equipment Company is now one of the leaders in the material handling industry both regionally and nationally receiving numerous awards for outstanding forklift parts and equipment sales records.

 

 

Beth Nigri is Marketing Director and Co Owner with her husband Vic of The Fitness Center, a one on one Personal Training facility located in the Crestline area of Mtn. Brook.  Beth is a graduate of the University of Alabama and was a teacher of Special Needs Children first in Baton Rouge, La. and then Birmingham.  She retired in 2003 and has been working at The Fitness Center since June of that year.  Beth believes in being pro-active about your health and helps The Fitness Center Clients in developing nutritional and fitness goals that are realistic and attainable.
